The Alberta New Home Warranty Program was founded in 1974 by Alberta homebuilder’s, to provide a package of warranty protections and to encourage improved performance for the new home building industry. Since its inception, the Program has been a leader and innovator in the provision of warranty services to the home building industry and was the first program of its kind to be introduced in Canada.
The program, a five-year warranty, includes construction standards, a guaranteed warranty obligation, and a deposit protection.
True-Line Contracting Ltd., a member since 1995, offers a one-year full coverage warranty on your new home along with the Alberta New Home Warranty Program. For an additional cost, Alberta New Home Warranty will extend the Warranty to 10 years.

ONLY QUALIFIED BUILDERS BEAR THIS SEAL OF APPROVAL. To be accepted as a Registered Builder Member of the Program, a Builder must meet standards in every aspect of professional knowledge and conduct, including

- Industry Reputation
- Technical Expertise
- Management Skills
- Market Awareness
Once registered in the Program, Builder Members must continue to meet membership requirements.
Among the considerations for renewal is the builder's customer service record for each home built - from purchase to construction through occupancy and the first year of ownership.
A Registered Builder Member's willingness and timeliness in performing any needed service work, as well as instances where the program is called upon to intervene in settling warranty issues, all bear upon whether or not a membership renewal is approved.
